The GP Unique
You'll be hard-pressed to find a more stylish hatchback than the GP Unique. It's got massive intakes with arch extensions as well as an wing with two parts at the rear that's the kind of features normally reserved for tricked-out French unicorns.
It's a good thing that it doesn't just look mean. It also feels fast. The engine is smooth, powerful and its 332lb-ft torque arrives with little fuss at speeds below 1,750rpm. It's also a good match to the quick-shifting six-speed automatic transmission. It's a pity that the GP Unique doesn't have a manual option however Mini makes no bones about its emphasis on lap times and an auto is definitely the best choice here.
It's not without flaws. The GP Unique's suspension is sturdy, but not engaging. When you drive on a straight and smooth B road, the chassis dynamic limits can be easily pushed, but it is difficult to keep the car in line with your inputs. The front end gets a bit snatchy, and the car struggles when under the strain of irregular British bumps.
Once you dial into the GP Unique, its handling is excellent. Its powerful front end and body control are redolent of the JCW race car we drove last year. It's a joy to drive on a slippery road and when you are in a good mood.
The car's chassis is different from the standard MT-09 thanks to its increased torsional rigidity and larger axles. The new GP's 24.7 degrees of rake and 108mm trail feel more on the nose compared to the R6. However, it also translates to amazing stability when turning.
Another fantastic feature of GP is the PO Generator module. This lets you examine your inventory levels and min/max levels you've set up for each item, and any open POs from your vendors (ie more inventory is in the pipeline) and then creates a list of suggested purchase orders which you can forward to your suppliers.
The GP 500
The GP 500 is Airoh's lightest GP helmet to date - aiding in reducing neck strain and fatigue, as well as increasing safety by reducing pressure on the wearer's shoulders. It also showed excellent grayscale performance, with clear extremely distinct shades. The GP500 showed subtle rainbow colors while watching the Adam Project. These were easy to see however they did not affect the viewing experience.
The sound quality is remarkable. The GP500 has an independent DSP chip onboard with treVolo Psychoacoustic Tuning that creates 3D audio effects. It is equipped with an internal quad-speaker layout that is placed at each corner of the cabinet. This is designed to create a sound field that is awe-inspiring for everyone, regardless of their position in the room.
There are a variety of connectivity options that include HDMI inputs 1, 2 and 3, as well as an optical Toslink SPDIF port for passing native Dolby Atmos bitstreams to an external sound bar. The GP500 has two Type-A USB 2.0 ports to stream content. It also supports the 12-volt screen trigger.

The GP 900

The GP 900 is a great machine that has a sporting heritage, but it also makes a great commuter or Sunday blaster. The 117bhp CP3 engine is very user-friendly and has a wide range of power that can be utilized at low revs. Even at speeds on the road the GP's midrange horsepower can easily recalculate your speed/time/distance calculations and completely eviscerate Google Maps estimated time of arrival. The GP's chassis is equipped with the right amount of stiffness - it's not as rigid as an R6 or as light and agile as the TT500. It's enjoyable to ride and is a real riot.
